CHANGE

Terms of use

Last updated 22 September 2026

This site belongs to CHANGE, a team of students standing in the 2026 Edith Cowan University Guild election. It is a campaign site: it is not run or endorsed by Edith Cowan University or the ECU Student Guild. By using it, and especially by signing in to the "What do you want to change?" ideas board, you agree to these terms.

Using the ideas board

Anyone can read the board. To post or vote you sign in with your own Google or Microsoft account. You can post up to five ideas a day and vote once on each idea. Please don't use someone else's account or try to get around these limits.

What you can post

Ideas should be about changes you want to see at ECU. Keep them respectful. Don't post anything that:

Moderation

We read what's posted and may hide or remove any idea that breaks these rules, without notice. We may also stop an account from posting. We won't edit your words, and we won't remove an idea just because we disagree with it.

Your ideas

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you let us show it on this site with your name, and use the idea to shape our policies and campaign, without needing to credit you further. You can ask us to take your ideas down at any time.

Your information

How we handle your name, email and votes is set out in our privacy page.

No guarantees

We run this site as volunteers and provide it as is. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always work, and we may change or close the ideas board at any time, including after the election. Ideas on the board are students' views, not promises from CHANGE, the Guild or the University.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms we'll update the date at the top of this page. Questions, or a post you want looked at? Message us on Instagram at @changeecu. These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia.
